It is known from the Napo River drainage at intermediate elevations ( asl). ==Description== Male ''Osteocephalus fuscifacies'' measure and females in snout–vent length. Dorsum is light brown to dark brown, with or without coffee-dark or light brown blotches.〔 ==Behaviour== ''Osteocephalus fuscifacies'' are nocturnal frogs. Males call from bromeliads more than above the ground. Apparently eggs are laid in bromeliads and these frogs never descent to the ground.〔 The arboreal lifestyle of this species makes it difficult to observe.〔〔
